Serve

At Sopchoppy SBC, service and missions are at the heart of our ministry, as we are passionate about sharing the Good News of the love of Jesus both locally and globally.

Our Community Outreach group leads mission projects that include light construction, yard work, tree removal, and other service projects for both church members and the local community. We also support children at Medart Elementary School through our Backpack Ministry, providing them with supplemental food to ensure they have what they need over the weekends. During the Christmas season, we participate in Operation Christmas Child, filling shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world. SSBC also supports families in our community through the Angel Tree Ministry.

SSBC also offers an opportunity for service through our Quilting ministry who have made quilts for veterans, our local pregnancy center, our Community Outreach ministry, as well as our widows. Additionally, our Benevolence Fund, collected after each Lord's Supper observance, helps church and community members facing specific needs. SSBC is committed to supporting North American Missions (NAMB) through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and International Missions (IMB) through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

We also offer mission trips for both youth and adults, providing opportunities to serve wherever God leads. With so many opportunities to give and serve, there’s always a way to make a meaningful impact for the Gospel at Sopchoppy SBC!
