What We Believe

At Sopchoppy SBC, we firmly believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

It is the foundation for all our doctrine, teaching, and reproof, as we hold to the truth that "all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). We rely on the Bible as our ultimate guide, understanding that it is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12), shaping and refining us to reflect the character of Jesus. Through God's Word, we seek to grow in knowledge, be equipped for good works, and live lives that honor Him
